Darkness

In the hidden court where mysteries abide,
Darkness, cloaked in silence, did confide,
To the One, whose light does all creation steer,
Why have I an adversary, ever so near?

You birthed the sun, a foe so fierce and bright,
It chases me, banishes me with its light,
It never rests, relentless in its chase,
Leaves not a corner for my shadowed grace.

The plea rose high, to where the angels dwell,
And reached the sun, in its celestial cell,
O fiery orb, O keeper of the day,
Why do you spurn the night and its array?

The sun, with rays that dance upon the seas,
Replied, O Maker, I aim but to please,
Darkness, you say? A stranger to my flames,
For when I shine, no trace of it remains.

How can I fight what I have never known?
I blaze, I warm, I’m in brightness sewn,
My purpose is to kindle and to feed,
To fill the sky, to help the earth’s need.

I rise not to conquer, nor to offend,
But to awaken, to heal and to mend.
Darkness speaks of me as its great demise,
Yet never in my path does it arise.

The One, who spins the cosmos with a word,
Whose voice in every living heart is heard,
Spoke gently to the night, so full of fear,
See, neither hate nor anger exists here.

Both sun and shadow, dancers in a play,
Each has its role, its time, its appointed day,
One follows the other, in harmony they blend,
In the grand design, both to each other, a friend.

Darkness, my beloved, do not despair,
For in your depths, the secrets of the earth you bear,
And sun, my radiant child, continue to soar,

Free

Echoes of silence, a canvas bare, Awaiting whispers on the twilight air.

Brushstrokes of longing, a yearning deep, For solace found in secrets hearts keep.

Moonlight dances, a silver thread, Through tangled thoughts where dreams are bred.

Each teardrop glistens, a fragile gem, Reflecting starlight’s diadem.

Inhale the hush, where shadows bend, And whispered wishes softly ascend.

Exhale the doubt, let worries cease, Embrace the solace, find inner peace.

For in the stillness, voices rise, A symphony of souls that never dies.

And in the darkness, beauty gleams, A tapestry woven in moonlit dreams.

So close your eyes, and let it be, A sanctuary where you are free.

In the hush of night, your spirit takes flight, Bathed in the glow of pure, eternal light.
